Legal & Compliance - Workshop Terms of Service

The terms that govern booking, paying for, changing, cancelling and refunding places on Bimorph workshops. Please read them before booking; by booking a place you agree to them.

Last updated: 15 July 2026

1. Scope

These terms apply to all scheduled Bimorph workshops, whether delivered live online or in person, and to group, on-site and bespoke deliveries unless a written agreement for that engagement says otherwise. They supplement our general Terms & Conditions; where the two differ in relation to workshops, these terms apply. Our free, self-paced guides are provided as documentation and are not covered by these terms.

2. Booking and payment

  • A place on a workshop is confirmed when we email you a booking confirmation and payment has been received in full, or, for invoiced group bookings, when we confirm the booking against an agreed invoice.
  • Invoiced fees are due before the workshop start date unless we agree different payment terms with you in writing.
  • Prices are quoted in pounds sterling per person and exclude VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate. Group and bespoke deliveries are quoted per cohort.
  • Where a workshop runs in more than one platform edition (for example Revit + Dynamo or AutoCAD + Grasshopper), your booking is for the edition named in your booking confirmation.
  • Joining instructions for live online sessions are sent by email before the workshop. It is your responsibility to meet the software and hardware requirements listed for the workshop.

3. Changes and transfers

All requests should be emailed to workshops@bimorph.com and take effect from the date we receive them.

  • Substitutions. You may send a different delegate in your place at any time before the workshop starts, at no charge, provided they meet the workshop's stated prerequisites. Just tell us their name and email address in advance.
  • Rescheduling. You may transfer your booking to a later scheduled date of the same workshop once, free of charge, with at least 14 days' notice before the original start date. Requests made with less than 14 days' notice, or second and subsequent transfers, are treated under the cancellation policy below.
  • Platform edition changes. You may switch to a different platform edition of the same workshop (for example from Revit + Dynamo to AutoCAD + Grasshopper) free of charge, subject to availability, with at least 7 days' notice before the start date.

4. Cancellation policy

You may cancel a booking by emailing workshops@bimorph.com. The notice period is measured from the date we receive your cancellation to the workshop start date, and the following applies to the fee paid per cancelled place:

  • 14 days or more before the start date: full refund.
  • 7 to 13 days before the start date: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days before the start date, or non-attendance on the day: no refund.

Before cancelling inside the 14-day window, consider a substitution instead: a colleague can take the place at no charge at any time before the workshop starts.

Places on free live sessions carry no fee, but please cancel if you cannot attend so the place can be offered to someone else.

If we cancel or reschedule. We may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, for example if minimum numbers are not reached, an instructor is unwell, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control intervene. If that happens we will tell you as soon as possible and you may choose either a full refund or a free transfer to the next available date. Our liability is limited to the workshop fees paid; we are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs, so we recommend booking refundable travel for in-person workshops.

5. Refund policy

  • Refunds due under these terms are made to the original payment method within 14 days of our written confirmation of the cancellation, and include the VAT on the refunded amount.
  • For invoiced bookings that have not yet been paid, we issue a credit note for the refundable amount instead; any non-refundable balance remains payable.
  • Missing all or part of a workshop, including through technical problems at your end, does not entitle you to a partial refund.
  • If we deliver a workshop materially different from its published description, contact us within 14 days and we will put it right, offer a free transfer, or refund the affected places.

Consumers. If you book as a consumer rather than for business purposes, you have a statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 from the day of booking. If the workshop takes place within those 14 days, you agree that delivery begins before the cancellation period ends. Where the policy above is more generous than your statutory rights, the policy applies; nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

6. Contact and governing law

Questions about these terms, and all booking, change, cancellation and refund requests, should go to workshops@bimorph.com. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
