Getting Started

This guide will walk you through installing Bimorph Nodes for Dynamo BIM. Most users will install via the Package Manager, which is the fastest and easiest method.

The Package Manager is built into Dynamo and provides the simplest installation experience:

  1. Open Dynamo in Revit
  2. Click Packages in the top menu, then select Search for a Package...
  3. Search for "BimorphNodes"
  4. Click Download on the BimorphNodes package
  5. Wait for the installation to complete

Manual Installation

For enterprise environments, offline installations, or air-gapped systems, you can install BimorphNodes manually:

  1. Download BimorphNodes from the Dynamo Packages website
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to your Dynamo packages folder (or any custom package path you've configured in Dynamo)
  3. If Dynamo is open during installation, a restart is required to see the package in the node library

Important Installation Notes

Compatibility Warnings

During installation, you may see warnings about BimorphNodes being compatible with newer versions of Dynamo and Revit. These warnings can be safely ignored — the package handles compatibility concerns internally and works correctly across all supported versions.

Uninstalling Old Versions

If you have BimorphNodes v5.x or earlier installed, you must uninstall it before installing v6.0.2:

  1. In Dynamo, go to Packages > Manage Packages...
  2. Find BimorphNodes in the list and click Uninstall
  3. Restart Revit and Dynamo
  4. Install the latest version following the instructions above
